Shipping within Japan
At BEFORE VINTAGE FURNITURE, all products are maintained by artisans before being shipped.
We usually ship within 5 to 10 days of your order.
*Shipping will be suspended during the New Year holidays.
Please note that the above times are only a general guideline and do not guarantee delivery times.
Please note that delivery may take longer than usual depending on the situation, such as traffic disruptions due to bad weather, delivery to certain areas, or during long holidays.
Shipping fees within Japan
Shipping fees vary depending on the product and delivery area.
Please check the automatically calculated amount when placing your order.
About international shipping
Shipping costs will be calculated individually depending on the product and delivery address, and will be notified to you in advance.
Therefore, please let us know what you want before purchasing.
Please note that even if you make a purchase without contacting us in advance, we will charge you an additional shipping fee.
We will ship your order via DHL. Please note that upon delivery, DHL will charge you customs duties, VAT, and consumption tax for each country.
Regarding products during exhibitions and POP-UP exhibitions
All of our products are one-of-a-kind, so delivery may take some time in the following cases.
If you are exhibiting at an overseas exhibition
After the exhibition, the artworks will be maintained and shipped as soon as they are returned to Japan.
*Due to shipping by sea, delivery may take 5 to 6 months after the end of the exhibition.
Depending on the timing, we may be able to deliver from overseas locations, so please contact us for more information.
If you are exhibiting at a POP-UP in Japan
After the POP-UP ends, maintenance will be performed and then the items will be shipped.
Alternatively, we can deliver the products from the venue after the exhibition, so please contact us for more information.
About sizes and orders
The same design can be produced
We can also produce products with the same design as the products currently on sale, using the same or different wood species.
About the number
Since all BVF furniture is one-of-a-kind, the number assigned to each new piece will be a continuation of the piece currently being produced.
Please note that the number cannot be determined until the production stage and you cannot specify the number.
About size adjustment
You can adjust the size while maintaining the design of the work.
Example: Make the dining table a little wider/narrower , shorten/lengthen the legs, etc.
however,
- Only adjustment to shorten the legs is required, and this can be applied to existing number pieces.
- If you wish to lengthen the legs or change the length of the tabletop, a new piece will need to be created (the length of the tabletop of an existing number cannot be changed).
Regarding delivery size
Some dining table models do not have removable legs.
Also, for other large furniture, please check in advance whether the size can be brought in.
Cancellations and changes
We cannot accept cancellations or changes to your order after it has been confirmed.
