Domestic Shipping within Japan
At BEFORE VINTAGE FURNITURE, all items are shipped only after they have been carefully maintained by our craftsmen.
Under normal circumstances, orders are dispatched within 5–10 days from the date of purchase.
Please note that we do not ship during our year-end and New Year holiday period.
The above timeframe is a general estimate and does not constitute a guaranteed delivery schedule.
Depending on conditions such as traffic disruptions due to severe weather, deliveries to certain regions, or peak periods such as long holidays, your order may take longer than usual to arrive.

Domestic Shipping Fees (within Japan)
Shipping fees vary depending on the item and the delivery area.
Please check the shipping fee that is automatically calculated and displayed during the checkout process.
International Shipping
We do not ship directly outside Japan.
However, by using the proxy purchasing service “WorldShopping,” operated by our partner Zigzag Inc., it is possible to have items ordered from outside Japan delivered to overseas destinations.
Please note:
- The WorldShopping guidance screen is displayed only when accessing our site from outside Japan.
- This service is not available for orders placed from within Japan.

Fees
WorldShopping charges a 10% service fee on the total product price*.
After the product is delivered to WorldShopping, you will receive a payment request from WorldShopping that includes international shipping fees, service fees, and any other applicable charges.

Payment
For payment as well, you can use WorldShopping, a proxy purchasing and shipping service.
WorldShopping purchases Japanese products on your behalf and delivers them worldwide.

Changes & Cancellations
WorldShopping’s proxy purchasing service involves purchasing products from the shop on behalf of the customer.
For this reason, orders cannot be changed or canceled once they have been placed.
Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.
Items Exhibited at Fairs and POP-UP Events
All of our items are one-of-a-kind pieces. For that reason, in the following cases, additional time will be required before we can ship your order.
When an item is exhibited at an overseas fair
After the fair ends, the item will be shipped back to Japan, undergo maintenance, and then be dispatched to you.
Because sea freight is used, delivery may be 5–6 months after the end of the exhibition.
When an item is exhibited at a POP-UP event in Japan
After the POP-UP event ends, we will carry out maintenance on the item and then ship it to you.
Custom Sizes and Made-to-Order Requests
Reproducing the same design
We can produce new pieces using the same design as items currently for sale.
You may choose the same wood species or a different wood species for your order.
About numbering
All BEFORE VINTAGE FURNITURE pieces are one-of-a-kind and assigned a unique number.
When we create a new piece, its number will follow sequentially from the works currently in production.
The final number is determined during the production process, so we are unable to accept requests to reserve or specify a particular number.

Size adjustments
We can adjust the size of a piece while preserving its original design.
Examples:
- Slightly increasing or decreasing the width of a dining table
- Shortening or lengthening the legs
However:
- Shortening the legs can be done on an existing numbered piece.
- If you wish to lengthen the legs or change the length of the tabletop, this will require production of a new piece (it is not possible to change the tabletop length of an existing numbered piece).
Delivery Access and Entry Size
Some dining tables are models whose legs cannot be removed.
For these and other large furniture items, please be sure to check in advance whether the item can be carried into your building, elevator, and room, given the available access dimensions.
Cancellations and Order Changes
We are unable to accept cancellations or changes to the order details after your order has been confirmed.
